Mark and I have been busy the last couple days with trenching and laying sewer lines. We have it all completed and now we are waiting for our inspection either today or tomorrow.
And of course the dogs are supervising!
We have one trench that does not need to be inspected that is ready to fill in. I did what is shown in the below picture. And it seemed like it took me forever, so luckily James still has his equipment on the island! When we are all done, he gets to do the fill in. Wahooo!
So during my downtime today I worked in my rock garden.
We did put up our temporary house number sign!
Today was a beautiful and clear day on the island. I took this fun picture of the mountain and yurt. It will look better once we move the camper to its final resting place.
We walked down to our bluff area that is above the beach. Here is a great view between the trees.
Progress…
Very physical work but rewarding!!! The views are spectacular and weather has been pretty decent on your island. Nippy this week in Denver (weβve had worse) but mountains are getting hammered. Jim has been snowmobiling, up to 3β near Rabbit Ears.
