I have a very funny story for you all. Our good neighbors had their pickup broken into when they were working on their property! The sad thing is we saw the car go down our road and just thought they were visiting the neighbors not robbing them! So we decided to put up a gate to deter traffic coming and going down our private road.
Well now we needed to put up a garbage can so that UPS, FedEX and the USPS could drop off packages.
Now the post office does not always bring the packages to the yurt but leaves the peach colored note in the mailbox saying you have to pick it up. Well a week or so ago I was looking for a package that I needed for my sick chicken, so Mark called the post office and told them about the garbage can. Nevertheless I had to go to town and pick up the package. Then a couple days later we got a note in the mailbox asking where our garage can was? Well we forgot to put a response back into the mailbox.
So on Wednesday I knew I was getting a package delivered by USPS. So Mark and I were heading to go golfing, so I asked him to stop at the mailbox because I figured I had the peach note. Nope, this is what we found.
Now when I opened this can it was full of recycling and my Amazon box was on top. This can is my neighbors and luckily it does not get picked up until Thursday! Thank goodness for golf since we don’t check the mail every day! 🤨 So I left this note for her…
Great story huh!
Then yesterday it was a nice sunny day to have the doors open and we had the same visitor twice! She is so curious.
Today is overcast and windy… so I took some pictures of all our wild flowers on the property.
This last picture of the Foxglove has not bloomed out yet but it will be white flowers. I have been told they are more rare than the colored ones.
Here are some pictures of my flower garden that I am trying to add color too.
And of course my fun babies are getting big!
This lady likes to be mean and chase the babies. I can’t wait till they get fully grown and can give her a taste of her own medicine.
Here is a great picture of Shiloh enjoying the grass.
