Field Trip

I sweet talked Mark into going with me today to a chicken auction that is held in Chehalis. Let me tell you, it was not what I expected it to be!

I could not believe how some of the chickens and ducks were cramped in some of the cages. There were some gorgeous roosters and lots of them. They were also selling several rabbits. It was an interesting experience but I did not bring any home.

So we left this depressing place and went thrift shopping in Centralia. This town is pretty darn cute and has lots of different antique shops. We did not purchase anything but an appetite. So we had a great recommendation from our good friends to try the Olympic Club.

Mark and I shared the clam chowder soup and fish and chips. We highly recommend both!

So we started to head home and we passed a sign that said gun show today. Mark looked at me and said “I went to your auction”. So we made that right turn. 🤣
